The world is undergoing the 4th Industrial Revolution, when scientific and technological achievements have a strong influence on all activities and fields in society. So any field is gradually digitizing its activities and the Government is the same, it is becoming an inevitable trend of development in many countries around the world.

Digital government is the solution to improve the quality of public services, helping governments to be more transparent and efficient. In order to anticipate and develop the digital government steps in Vietnam, on July 18, 2018, the Vietnam High-Level Information and Communication Forum (Vietnam ICT Summit) 2018 took place with the owner “Towards Digital Government and Digital Economy”, attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Chairman of the Government Office, Mr. Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, and representatives of central and local state agencies, leading IT units nationwide.

Speaking at the forum, the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the leaders of the ministries, branches and related agencies have made clear their determination to seize opportunities, agree with the action to implement the task of building e-government. towards digital economy and digital society.
