Yen Bai Vocational College applies RFID system to library operation

Yen Bai Vocational College has the function of vocational training for workers in Yen Bai province and surrounding areas at 3 levels: vocational college, vocational secondary and vocational primary level.

As a vocational school in the mountainous province faces with many difficulties, however, the school is increasingly showing its training capacity as well as maintaining and developing the scale of training, improving the quality of comprehensive training reach international and ASEAN levels, to aim for 20120 to build a high-quality vocational school.

In order to achieve the goals, the school has identified a number of key tasks that continue to improve the number and quality of staff, faculty and students. Because the foundation for training high-tech workers is the faculty. At present, the need for research and self-study of lecturers and learners’ materials is increasing. Besides continuing to invest in modern equipment to meet the criteria of high quality vocational schools.

And one of the practical activities in this project is to improve the quality of the library. Therefore, in October 2018 marked a big change in the process of managing and borrowing documents from the Library of Yen Bai Vocational College. After a short time of installation and training, the library has officially put into operation RFID management, traffic and security monitoring systems, specifically with the following devices:

• 1 set of 3-wing gate PG50
• 2 staff stations
• 1 handheld inventory device
• 2 self-borrowing stations
